Rubies adorn her arms
Glinting radiant in the moonlight
Each drop a crimson release
From pain
She watches them as they tumble
Down her arms in a red cascade
Dreaming crimson release
From pain
The moon sets and the sun rises
There she lay still and pale
Among her ruby pool, released
From pain
